Counselling With ALL Your Heart, Your Soul,
Your Mind and Your Strength

In this 2010 logo, we see the continued embracement of the person on the cross. This theme does not change from previous years, but it is now securely pinned in the conference WCCA. This symbolizes the importance of being Christ-centric. The design of the WCCA lettering is also intentionally done in a wave format. This is used to represent the dynamic and radiating healing that transmits from the very core of our relationship with God.

Experiencing God Through Counselling

In our 2008 logo, there was a three-dimensional figure where the person was becoming whole and “full” as they expereinced God through the counselling process. It emphasized the need for us to help our clients grow more into Christ-likeness as we ourselves hold onto our own connectedness with God.

Spirituality: The Heart of Counselling

In our 2006 logo, we see distinctly that the holistic healing can only come when one is embracing and centered in the foundation of the cross. “Spirituality: The Heart of Counselling” emphasized the need for us to return to our spiritual roots in order that the deep, authentic and holistic healing can take place. It is also the integration of our broken and sinful selves back to a loving and merciful God.

An Integrated Holistic Approach to Counselling

The icon with the man with open arms remains in this year’s logo. This man has evolved from the original point where he was seen juggling three circles in the air; sumbolizing body, mind and spirit. In the 2004 conference, our emphasis was that healing from God can come through many channels.
